Set in sunny Santa Barbara, CA, 1979, this indie film brings on and tackles many modern day problems, depicted in the story of a loving single mother, and her son, and the people she surrounds herself with. Not only surrounded, but helped by two young women, one, a punk rocker... and the other, a fun and savvy teenager and neighbor, simply to help her son get over his life troubles. A laugh out loud and caring movie for any older families.
